Implementation Gap
While the 2023 G20 Leaders' Declaration recognised cultural heritage as a “transformative driver” of the SDGs, a critical implementation gap remains.
There is no dedicated platform that activates cultural heritage as a dynamic economic asset through the private sector. The G20 CHEA provides the “micro-engine”: the entrepreneurs, investors, and local experts who turn cultural heritage into jobs and viable business ecosystems.
